Basketball has always been at the intersection of what I do and this piece juxtaposes this street sport with the ultra ornate and grandeur aesthetic of the Baroque era. The expression on the mirror (originally by Jay-Z) represents that we as creatives have different trajectories. We don’t shoot at the same baskets because we can create our own; a different meaning than intended.
